Immaculate Conception Parish is an Apostolate of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) in the Diocese of Colorado Springs. Thus, the Parish uses the liturgical books that were in force in 1962. All parochial Sacraments are available according to the "Extraordinary" form of the Roman Rite, or the Traditional/Tridentine Latin Mass. These rights are granted to the members of the FSSP as well as to other priests staying in the houses of the Fraternity or exercising their sacred ministry in the churches of the Fraternity.
The entire Diocese will be praying the Divine Mercy Novena in preparation for Divine Mercy Sunday. The novena begins on Good Friday (this Friday) so please take one of the pamphlets available for this novena. Also, Bishop Sheridan will be consecrating our Diocese to Divine Mercy at the 3:00 p.m. Mass at St. Mary Cathedral. We will be doing the Act of Consecration after each Mass on Sunday, April 28th.

Dr. John and Rebecca Jackson, co-founders of the Turin Shroud Center of Colorado, will be doing a presentation on the Shroud of Turin after the 10:30 a.m. Mass on May 19, 2019 (Sunday after Mother’s Day). Since Dr. Jackson and Rebecca last visited our parish, there are exciting new developments to report! This will be a great opportunity to come and hear for yourself from the leader of the Team that was granted the exceptionally rare privilege of physically examining the Shroud itself, which shows a front and back, photographic-negative, pigment-less image of a man who appears to have suffered severe injuries consistent with the Gospel accounts of Christ’s crucifixion.
The following filters are very useful against the impurity that is invading today’s mass means of communications. These filters can be found on the following web-sites:
